SEC Event Intelligence enters private test at US$0.008 per event

Extract material business events from SEC filings for the companies you track. Every event is classified by 8-K item, quotes the filing's own words, and links to the primary document on sec.gov. Built for account research, sales prep, and signal feeds.

The experiment

  • Hypothesis: users repeatedly pay for normalized, timely SEC filing events.
  • Target user: account-research and intelligence teams.
  • Price: US$0.008 per event, pay per event.
  • Floors before the rules read anything: 20 Store users, 45 days observed, 90 days to close.
  • Monthly cap on our side: US$15.

Limits — please read

  • Coverage is a curated watchlist, not all of EDGAR. The cache is refreshed nightly for the companies enrolled in it (currently 21 large US filers across sectors). Requesting a CIK that is not enrolled returns an empty result with emptyReason in the run summary.
  • Freshness is nightly. A filing accepted this afternoon appears after the next refresh; the freshness block tells you the cache's last successful refresh.
  • 8-K items are the unit. A filing with three items yields one event with three items and the categories they map to; the quoted excerpt is the first classified item's section.

What happens next

Private test means the Actor runs for us and for invited testers. It is listed on the Store when the listing gate passes and the Console pricing is entered; the launch post arrives from the ledger on that day, and the Monday numbers follow.

BuildOn Marketplaces has no commercial relationship with Apify. Store figures are read from the public Store; revenue figures from our own Console; the reading from our published decision rules.
